Day 309 – An Amazing Vision!

I love that first chapter of Ezekiel. He has one of those visions, like Isaiah, like John in the Revelation. As I read, I get the sense that Ezekiel is attempting to describe something that’s commonplace to us today, but totally other-worldly to him.

Like a helicopter. Except that God is driving.

I bet artists have tried many times to capture this vision. So I am going to look.

I didn’t quite get the same image in my mind as Raphael.

Howard Lerner gives us a modern take on the scene.

This is closer to what I had in my mind’s eye.

Here’s a crazy one. Wish I could find who painted this!

I like this one. Though I can’t find the original artist. Colorful!

Well, there are a lot more where these came from. But I need to head over and out tonight.
